Teapots by Sarah Wells Rolland from Asheville, NC Village Potters

The Village Potters in Asheville, NC were devastated during the floods. The studios are completely ruined, most of the equipment and the work lost. Help send your support by signing up for this very special class by Sarah Wells Rolland, offered at Studio Nadeau in video format with hands on instruction and help by Ellen Nadeau. This class will cover many styles and sources for inspiration with technical guidance. One of the most difficult and exciting forms for potters, this class will provide great technical assistance. Teapots become a very individual and signature piece for each potter. Mastering teapots is thrilling, and here you will have a great guide.

Wednesday evenings from 6 – 8pm. 6 weeks, $249 includes materials and firings.

Friday Nights on the Wheel, Fridays 6 – 8pm.

Join a pottery class with a friend, your family, or a date! There are 8 spots available each Friday evening. Get messy and make some pottery on the wheel. We’ll show you how to do it and then help you create your own unique piece. At the end, you can choose your favorite piece and add a glaze to make it even more special. Pickup is in about 3 weeks. Come give pottery a try, meet some new people, and have a blast! $60 per person includes all supplies and firings. Call to reserve in advance.

Hand building has moved to TUESDAY Evenings 6 – 8pm.

Our hand building class is now offered in the evenings! It’s all about working with clay using slabs, coils, plaster molds, and getting creative off the wheel. Many of you have been asking for this class, so here’s your chance to join us in the evening. Ellen Nadeau is an expert hand-builder, and she’ll teach you all the techniques that make her work so unique. She’ll show you how to create well-constructed pieces that will produce amazing results. Tuesdays, 6 – 8pm $249 includes supplies and firings.
