Welcome To Studio Nadeau

Studio Nadeau is the retirement project for Ellen Nadeau. She built it to give back to the art community that nourished her since childhood.

Ellen’s art was shown in galleries across North America, including Toronto, Ann Arbor, Detroit Institute of Arts, Portland, Santa Fe, Scottsdale, Monterey, Sausalito, Seattle, West Palm Beach, Chicago, Palm Springs, and Denver.

Her work is in the permanent collections of buildings in Chicago, Napa Valley, New York, and in Kaiser Permanente buildings throughout the Denver area.

Ellen has taught at the University of Michigan, Rockford College, Ecole de Beaux Arts (National Art Academy) in Aix en Provence, France, University of Colorado in Denver, Metropolitan State College in Denver, and University of Denver School of Art.

Classes

Central to the mission of Studio Nadeau is our education program. I love teaching pottery. It is so exciting to share the techniques and knowledge with novices and artists. Wherever you are in life, it is a good time to give ceramics a try and see where it takes you.

Events

During the year we will offer special events or guest artist  workshops that will be open to the public. These community programs will not assume any previous experience. Get inspired!

Sign up on our email list to get notified of upcoming events you could attend.

Artworks

Current work is available for sale. Past work reflects the major projects completed, or series of works that absorbed my attention for a few years. Ideas can be expressed in bronze, drawing, and many other media.

Ceramics is where I am most at ease. I feel I lose less in translation when it comes to clay.
